Strange Cargo

Strange Cargo has been a brick and mortar business near Wrigley Field in Chicago for over 15 years. When we first started we were a vintage store. About 9 years ago we bought out the contents of an old iron-on t-shirt shop. Life has never been the same. We are the premier t-shirt shop in the city. On average we sell about 200 t-shirts a day.

We just opened our on-line store about 9 months ago. We offer customers the ability to create their own shirts with our images and custom lettering. We are a unique site where customers are able to choose from over 700 designs and then pick the style and color of shirt that they would like. Many of our designs are from the 60s, 70s and 80s. And, local artists have created lots more.

Pretty much anyone can find a t-shirt on our sight that they will like. Unlike other sites most of our shirts are not of the moment. They are classic and as such never go out of style. We print on American Apparel t-shirts and Augusta baseball and ringer shirts. By using these recognizable and respected brands people feel comfortable ordering our shirts.
